MII Development Resources

The MII requires universally recognized and understood terminology, and specifically, machine-recognizable data. When creating MII documents, many data elements may therefore only take on values from a predetermined and recognized finite list. This page provides developer resources for building or referencing such lists. Applicable data elements include measured quantities, approved accreditation bodies, documentary standards, measurement activity types, measurement discipline categories and subcategories, etc.
